I work for a consulting engineers as a PA for the facilities management department. I was pretty academically directionless for a long time, having studied Classics BA and Physics BSc (but having finished niether). I love classical literature, astrophysics, astrology, languages and music. I am fascinated by human psychology and different personality types, and how they manifest themselves. I hope to delve deeper int this and train to be a clinical psychologist. I am only on this site for random friendship as I am in a relationship.

I think the best way to sum me up would be to say that I belive Arnold Schwarznegger is the finest comic actor of his generation. I base this belief on his excellent performance in Christmas classic - 'Jingle All the Way'.

I base most of the major decisions in my life around the mantra 'what would Arnie do?' Unfortunately this leads me to conclude that all things can be solved by pumping some iron in the gym. I can't afford a gym membership so instead I drink Diet Coke and listen to Music.

Interests:
in a word, stories. Ideally fantasy novels. Reading them, writing them, learning about writing. I love books and casually collect hardbacks. Daydreaming in old buildings. History, specifically what it was like to live at any given time that catches my interest. Geography and geology (very basic knowledge, although I'd love to learn more) - how the world was/is formed and what it's like to live in different places. Stuff like that fascinates me, although I'm not terribly knowledgable.
I also enjoy taking photos, walks, general doodling, and exploring bits of the countryside.

I really hate filling these things out, summarising your life into a box. Im trying this out on the insistance of one of my sisters and female friends. I'm gonna try and not make this "I this, I that, I, I, I"
But if I start to refer to myself in a third person sense...I think people will start to get worried. Plus that only has a limited shelf life.

Im not a football or Rugby fan, nothing against it, just not my thing.
When I get chance, or when i can be motivated enough I read. Tend to go through spells, read nothing for ages and then blitz a fair few books.
Last book was The Portrait of Dorian Gray, my copy of Jane Eyre has been staring at me for far too long screaming "read me". So I guess that's next, always open to suggestions with books.At the moment im reading a book on philosophy by Bruce Lee. Again open to books on that subject.

Could do with getting back into my cooking, which is something i've kind of let slide. Need to get back on the cross trainer!

Looking for someone who can make me laugh (number 1), a decent brain and somebody who doesnt take themselves too seriously, cause i dont. As an undercover agent I can't really say much about myself hence the blurred photo but I will say my last mission only ended with one funeral which means I'm getting better. I was recruited due to my excellent skill on roller skates (which is the new choice of getaway vehicle these days) and because I have perfect pitch. I tend to focus on music missions as this is the area of my expertise, or at least it is higher than Fred's (the other operative in the south-west). I like to study, do sport, chat to anyone about anything. I like women, would like more girl friends in my life. I made quite the change to my life a couple of years ago, went back to education and am now studying chemistry at uni. Changing my profile cos, well, Ive changed a lot recently. Just been travelling round asia for the last 4 months and doesnt that just open your eyes (and nose) up to a whole new world. Unfortunately, Ive had to come back to this miserable place, where everyone is rude, ignorant, self absorbed and a horrible pasty white colour. As a result of coming back, I too have become self absorbed, mainly in an attempt to figure out what the hell Im going to do with my life. Probably should have that sorted by now, being 29 n all, but I havent. My friends and family mean the world to me, otherwise I would never have come back, also, I missed my comics, (Spiderman raised me). oh, and I ran out of money. I have a pretty dark sense of humour, but despite the odd pschopathic tendency Im generally a good guy. My best friend is always accusing me of being an 'infectious moraliser', and as a result of this I have a whole load of issues. Blame the parents. anyway, bored now.

Now, before you dismiss my profile, thinking, I could never be seen with a man who keeps mice in his beard and hears voices in his head: consider this. We would be free to come and go as we please, dine outside the finest restaurants and wander the countryside under the stars. We could climb the trees, dance in the streets, sing at the top of our voices in a busy shopping centre and sleep in the doorways of palaces (often being moved along politely, I hasten to add). What life is finer than this?

I tend not to wash but miraculously still own all my original teeth. I tend to sleep with one eye open (so you will always be protected) and can fashion a bivouac out of a poncho and couple of straws for shelter.

I will be able to teach you to play the diddly bo and talk to the animals; sometimes they will do your bidding, but more often than not they will ignore you and not do your bidding at all, but I assure you, they're listening.

So, if the life of a vagrant appeals, please drop me a line. if I don't get back to you quickly be patient, I'm barred from over 90 percent of the internet cafe's in Bristol and not technically allowed in the other 10 percent so it ften takes cunning and guile to get online for more than 2 minutes at a time.

Why Is this question so hard to answer? After all, I've known "ME" for over 30 years, If you'd had a mate for that long you'd know every last detail about them, So why is it so hard to describe yourself.....?

I could have cheated here and just wrote a load of nonsense in this box, but instead i'm going to take my time and fill this lovely box with a comment. And for that my dear reader you should be eternally greatful.

I really like dark chocolate Toblerone bars, although I won't complain if you buy me a standard milk one. I hate adverts on the TV with people giving testimonials about how great their toothpaste/home loan/whatever is that are shot in the same way as This Life with a million different camera angles. I have an irrational fear of baked beans and I get very upset when people "forget" to tell me they put mushrooms in a chicken pie, or a bolognaise, or anything in fact. If I was a character from CSI, then I think I'd quite like to be Danny from CSI:New York. No reason though. I'm really rather geeky. And I'm fairly proud of that fact as well.

29 years old and living in a caravan at my place of work as an outdoor instructor.The world inside my caravan consists of several musical instruments,tea, a sofa and various books to consume my time. The world outside my caravan consists of friends, crags and peaks, rivers, ales and music.

I try my best to treat others as I would like to be treated, not being a religous man, its a simple foundation to base my values on. I don't think there are many people like me out there, but I like to be a bit different.

Q. Describe your physical appearance attractive attributes....
A. Lets see, how do I describe this so you picture it clearly in your mind now.... can you remember your first love as you stared into his eyes and admired those features that made him special. You felt so happy around him, and melted when he stared into your eyes. It was if you shared a special connection with him, and he seemed beautiful to you no matter what. Thats the same type of connection that lets you realize the beauty within me.

Q. Breifly describe your personality... A. Getting to know someones personality can be a wonderful experience. In many ways, my personality is like that of several people whom you've already enjoyed in your life. Whats it like to suddenly discover that someone you're getting to know for the first time is very much like you. Where you find yourself sharing the same values and emotions that make it feel as if you've known each other for the longest time already. As you find yourself fascinated by them, and comfortable being around them because they seem so much like you. That's my personality.

Q. If you could change anything about yourself what would it be?
A. The concept of change itself is interesting. Can you remember judging someone prematurely....at first thinking they weren't your type only to just as quickly realise how wonderful they really are now. Where you learned that the search for what really makes you happy extends far beyond your initial perceptions. As you begin to realise this you know there's no need to change, because I am who I need to be, to be he.

Q. What kind of person would you most like to meet?
A. Such deceivingly simple questions can be so difficult to answer. Have you ever spent time with someone you shared an instantaneous connection with...where you can remember that connection feeling so strong, as if it seemed predestined. Where you suddenly realise how much that person really understands you, in a way which you always wanted to be understood , as you begin to sense comfort building, you notice how you feel that powerful connection that comes from two people who were meant to share time together. A connection like that takes someone special, I can remember feeling that on those rare and special moments when you know you've met your own special me.

Q. Whats the perfect first date and where would you go?
A. The perfect first date....What fascinated me was that I knew it was going to be perfect even before the date. Where something within senses how wonderful it's going to be, and you can hear that voice in your subconcious saying "How suprised would you be to find yourself actually looking forward to spending some time with me, like maybe to the point where you could imagine us over coffee, laughing and having the best time, and you find yourself starting to feel really comfortable with that. As you think about it like that doesn't it just seem natural that we meet and spend just a little time together?" Thats what I remember....and it's a wonderful feeling, wasn't it?
